I learned about the book from reading Tentacles which is the second book in the series. I want to read this book because I really enjoyed the second book and know their is going to be a third book eventually coming out. So, I would like to have all the books written to date read before the third one comes out.

I heard about this book from my girlfriend. I want to read this book because it is about someone with an autistic spectrum disorder and I plan on being a special education teacher. So, autism fascinates me and any chance I get to read about someone with the disorder I am willing to take a look at it.

I heard about this book from my girlfriend as well. A lot of the other books she has recommended that I read have turned out to be pretty good. It also sounds kinda like the book Tentacles that I just finished and I enjoyed that book a lot.
My Brother Charlie by Holly Robinson Peete
I heard about this book during our genre presentations. Nick's explanation of the book got me interested in reading it and as I have said before anything about an autistic child a chance of gaining my interests.

I heard about this book during the historical fiction genre presentation. The fact that it was based on a true story really caught my interests and I think would be extremely valuable in the classroom.

I head about this book the genre presentation about folklore and fairy tales. I am a fan of the classic fairy tales and I always think it is interesting to read the different adaptations.
Sasquatch by Roland Smith
This book was recommended to me by Leslie. I really enjoyed Tentacles by Roland Smith and I am sure it is a recommendation. I have always been interested in different cryptids and Sasquatch fits the bill.
Zach's Lie by Roland Smith
This book was also a recommendation to me by Leslie. I looked a summary of the book and it sounded like something I would be interested in. A boy and his family being put into witness protection and the mystery that ensues has the book sounding like it could be a good read.
Jack's Run by Roland Smith
Yet another book recommended to me by Leslie. I figured once I have read the first book, I might as well read the sequel. If the first book is a good I will definitely look into reading the sequel. The first Roland Smith book I read was good and I am sure the rest will be as well.

I heard about this book during the historical fiction genre presentation. I am a big baseball fan and have never read about the women that played the game. I think it would be interesting to read about baseball from a different perspective.

I hear about this book during the informational and nonfiction book genre presentation. I thought the Pirateology book was really cool and interactive. I have always been interested in dragons and these books do a good job of going in depth on their topics.

I heard about this during the fantasy fiction and science fiction presentation. I had read the graphic novel version of this book and I would like to read the novel version so I can make comparisons.

I heard about this book when we were doing our text set and during one of our book passes. This book is about autism and like I have stated previously I have a strong desire to read about and learn as much as possible about autism. I have heard it is a good book as well.
